Chloe's First Day

Chloe started school today. She was so excited to get her uniform on, she just kept staring at herself in the mirror and saying how she was a grown up girl now. I'm freaking out today, though, b/c she just seems too young to me. I think she'll really enjoy it and do well at it. It helps that most of the children she is in her class with were also in her preschool, and her teacher is the same one that Sophia had. I just don't want her to grow up so quickly!

Sophia started Year 2 and the thing she's most excited about is that she'll get to stand on the back row in the choir. She's scared that her teacher is a strict one this year, too.

Where does the time go??

They look so cute in their uniforms! I wish kids here had to wear a uniform... sigh...

Hope she had a good day! It is Adam's 'first' day too, but given that he was at the same school all last year for a pre-K class this morning was a bit anti-climatic!

Thanks Jack, we miss you guys, too!

I can't believe it's Adam's first day, Alex!! It's good when they're already so familiar with the school. Makes the transition so much easier, or as you say 'anticlimatic'!

How exciting! Jonah asks everyday when he will be off track break. He does not understand why he does not get to go. He is so ready. He starts his preschool program in 2 weeks. They look adorable in their uniforms!

Wow, I forgot how early they start school in England!! Chloe and Nathan are the same age, but Nate still has two more years before he goes into full time school! (that's probably why most Brits are smarter than us!) Also, I LOVE the uniforms!!!

Thanks guys! It is way early here! I don't like it and I don't think it really makes them smarter. I just have to live with it, though. When in Rome, eh?
